Carbon fiber tape with aluminium is a composite insulating tape built from two functional layers:
- Base layer — carbonized fiber tape. Continuous carbon fiber yarn is woven into a flexible tape. Carbon fiber is characterized by high tensile strength, low thermal conductivity, low density and outstanding heat resistance, which makes the tape an ideal thermal barrier.

1. Is Radiant Heat the Main Issue?

- Carbon fiber tape handles high-temperature service well.
- Above the practical limit of the aluminium foil, use the plain carbon fiber tape.
