KXT-1710 is a styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR) gasket die-cut or mould-compressed from SBR sheet, with 3 MPa minimum tensile strength, 350% minimum elongation at break, 40–80 Shore A hardness and a service temperature range of −30°C to +80°C. SBR delivers excellent abrasion resistance, good ageing and ozone resistance, and better temperature tolerance than natural rubber, at a lower cost than NR in most applications. Specified for cold and hot water flanges, mining and aggregate processing skirting, automotive and construction sealing, and general industrial sealing where mineral oil is not present. Service temperature range is −30°C to +120°C, with low-to-medium compressibility, moderate oil resistance and good resistance to atmospheric attack.
