Standard sheet sizes from 1270×1270 mm to 4100×1500 mm, thickness 0.5–6.0 mm. Cut-to-size gaskets and bulk sheet supply quoted factory-direct within 24 business hours.
What is KNNY350 non-asbestos jointing sheet? Kaxite KNNY350 is the top grade of the KNNY oil-resistant non-asbestos jointing sheet series, made from non-asbestos heat-resistant fibre, filler and oil-resistant rubber compound, compression-moulded into 0.5–6.0 mm sheet. Rated 1.5 MPa working pressure and 200°C, with 15.0 MPa tensile strength and passing the No.75 aviation-gasoline oil-sealing test at 16 MPa for 30 minutes with no leakage.

KNNY350 is a compressed non-asbestos jointing sheet from the KNNY oil-resistant family, not a finished die-cut gasket. Buyers cut it into flange gaskets, heat-exchanger gaskets, oil-line seals, pump and valve joints and custom-shaped seals, or specify cut-to-size gaskets made from it. Its value over the standard non-asbestos jointing sheet range is oil resistance combined with the highest tensile strength in the Kaxite non-asbestos sheet line — 15.0 MPa, roughly 36% higher than KNNY300 and 3× the KNXB200 entry grade.

KNNY Series vs KNXB Series — Which Non-Asbestos Jointing Sheet Grade Do You Need

Kaxite’s non-asbestos jointing sheet line is split into two families. The KNXB series is the general-purpose non-oil-resistant line, with density 1.6–2.0 g/cm³, tensile strength from 5.0 to 11.0 MPa, and no oil-sealing test requirement. The KNNY series is the oil-resistant line, with density 1.6–1.8 g/cm³, tensile strength from 8.0 to 15.0 MPa, and all grades tested to aviation gasoline. KNNY350 is the top of the KNNY series and — measured by tensile strength — the strongest non-asbestos jointing sheet in the Kaxite range.

Two rules of thumb for procurement. First: if the joint carries oil, fuel, lubricant or aviation fluid — even occasionally — specify a KNNY grade; a KNXB grade is not tested for oil and may swell or lose tensile strength. Second: within KNNY, move up the series only when the operating condition actually demands it. KNNY250 covers most general oil-line joints; KNNY300 is the practical step up for higher-pressure hydraulic and lubricant circuits; KNNY350 is specified where bolt load is limited, where the joint sees thermal cycling, or where the highest available tensile strength is required for large-diameter flanges. For thinner sheets or cut gaskets, see the KNNY300 and KNNY250 pages.

Standard Sheet Sizes, Thickness Range and Cut-to-Size Gasket Options

KNNY350 is supplied as standard sheet in six stock sizes with thickness from 0.5 mm to 6.0 mm. Non-standard sizes, intermediate thicknesses and cut-to-size gaskets — full-face, ring, oval, rectangular or drawing-specific — are made to order. For applications requiring cut gaskets rather than sheet, see the non-asbestos gasket range.

4100 × 1500 mm Thickness 0.5 – 6.0 mm
2000 × 1500 mm Thickness 0.5 – 6.0 mm
3810 × 1270 mm Thickness 0.5 – 6.0 mm
1500 × 1500 mm Thickness 0.5 – 6.0 mm
1500 × 1360 mm Thickness 0.5 – 6.0 mm
1270 × 1270 mm Thickness 0.5 – 6.0 mm

Packing: wooden pallet of approximately 1,000 kg or 2,000 kg net, depending on sheet thickness and total quantity. Sheet is supplied interleaved and pallet-wrapped for transport.

For plant maintenance and MRO teams: the four large-format sizes (4100×1500, 3810×1270, 2000×1500, 1500×1500 mm) are designed to yield multiple gasket blanks per sheet with minimal waste. For jobs with a fixed BOM of die-cut gaskets, cut-to-size supply is usually more economic than buying sheet and cutting in-house; for teams that cut gaskets on demand, sheet supply keeps the workshop stocked without tying up cash in a fixed gasket inventory.

From Sheet to Gasket — Applications in Oil, Fuel, Steam and General Industrial Service

KNNY350 is a sheet material, so its applications are the applications of the gaskets cut from it. The oil-resistant chemistry of the KNNY series makes it a natural fit for oil-line flanges, fuel-system joints, lubricant-circuit seals, hydraulic flanges and transformer-oil equipment. Its 200°C temperature rating and 1.5 MPa working pressure cover low-pressure steam, hot-water, air and neutral-gas flanges, which is why it also appears in general plant maintenance alongside oil-service work. Its 15.0 MPa tensile strength and 30% stress relaxation make it the grade to select when the flange is large, when bolt load is limited, or when the joint sees thermal cycling — conditions where a lower-grade sheet would relax and leak.

In practice, KNNY350 is specified in oil refineries and petrochemical plants for hydrocarbon and lubricant service, in power plants for fuel-oil and low-pressure steam joints, in marine and shipyard work for fuel-line and lube-oil flanges, in transformer and switchgear manufacturing for oil-tight joints, and in general engineering workshops that need a single oil-resistant sheet that covers most of their flange work. For applications involving strong acids, solvents or higher temperatures, the asbestos sheet range may still be the more appropriate specification — as always, match the material to the actual media and duty, not to the marketing label.

Factory Supply, Cut-to-Size Options and Bulk Quote Requirements

KNNY350 is manufactured at Kaxite’s Ningbo facility and supplied factory-direct for OEM, MRO, project and distribution procurement. Standard sheet sizes are held for fast shipment; non-standard sheet sizes, thicknesses outside 0.5–6.0 mm, cut-to-size gaskets and private-label packaging are available against drawing or purchase specification. For buyers consolidating a sheet-gasket package, KNNY350 can be combined with compression sheet and braided packing lines in a single shipment.

To quote accurately, include: sheet size and thickness (e.g. 1500×1500 mm × 3.0 mm), grade confirmation (KNNY350), cut-to-size requirement if any (OD / ID / bolt circle / quantity), operating media (oil type or steam / water / gas), operating pressure and temperature, packing preference (1,000 kg or 2,000 kg pallet), and annual or project quantity.
