VCS Very Critical Service Flange Insulation Gasket Kit is a high-reliability isolating gasket engineered for the most demanding oil, gas and petrochemical sealing environments. Unlike standard flange insulation gasket kits, the VCS combines a pressure-activated PTFE spring-energized face seal (or elastomeric O-ring) with a high-strength isolating laminate permanently bonded to an annealed SS316 stainless steel core. It is designed for service where the cost of gasket failure cannot be tolerated.

Construction & Materials

Metallic Core

The core of each VCS gasket is made of annealed SS316 stainless steel for high strength and corrosion resistance. Other metals, including Duplex and Inconel, are available on special order.
